SAHAYTA..a call for everyone !!!!

When we hear the word "Sunday", all of us get a feel like a holiday, a relaxing time .And when we know it's Saturday, we start planning how we are gonna use the relaxing time we have got. Most of us plan for a long sleep till noon, a great lunch, some Netflix and more sleep again.

Me as a blogger, most of the days are Sundays for me. As I don't need to rush to the office in the morning, don't have to listen from anybody as what I need to do for the day and what not. I have the most relaxing time all of the week plus lots and lots of time to read , paint and write. What else can you wish for.

But all my friends are working a 9-5 job and they just get Sunday to meet all their friends, so this is my Sunday mostly. But this time, it was different. Last when I was doing the "free hugs" thing and when we were done with that, we were doing a sharing circle. When this was happening, a gentleman came to us, seeing a large number of youth together and invited us to his place for a session on Sunday.

He told us that he is from an NGO named "Sahayta" which focus on how we can help people who are victims of accidents or those who are in danger.

When an accident happens, and a person got injures, it take 5-7 minutes minimum for a Ambulance to arrive and most of the deaths happens during this time only. So this NGO works on saving one's life in those crucial moments only.

So, listening to this, I got eager to know the tricks and things , just in case I may come across something like this. So we went to their place. We were welcomes by the same person and he then started the session.

During the session, they told us about how a tragedy can happen anytime and what as the person most near to the victim can do. It includes the victims in any kind of accidents, any kind of natural accidents, unconsciousness, heart attack and death of a person.

According to surveys, India ranks 10th on most number of accidents happening, but number 1 on the most death happening by accidents. more surprisingly, the number belongs to the Rajasthan city the most.

So, it's the need of now, that we all get aware of all the technique that can be used in order to save one's life.

WHY THIS SESSION ??!!

#1 One will get a detailed knowledge of what are the possible outcomes of the symptoms shown by the victim

#2 how to examine the symptoms

#3 What one can do in the given situation

#4 Even if the person looses it's breath and heart beat, what actually can be done

#5 Give you a live practical using the specially made mannequin

#6 The important medicines that one should keep with them all the time

The session is organised by the team on last Sunday of every month @11:30 am at 297, Taruchaya nagar, Tonk road, Jaipur. You can read about the NGO here!

I wish more people can attend the session and I would be more then happy even if one person joins the session reading this post here. All I could say is you won't regret going there and you never know what can happen tomorrow and how this can create change in someone's life through you.
