Twitter and social networks, in general, are the main promotion tools nowadays. I'm using Twitter to promote my steemit posts and also joining bounty campaigns (I love bounties), which pays high attention to the number of followers. Today I would like to tell the readers how to promote the twitter account.

Some will argue, saying that it's not effective or that you can turn your Twitter feed into a trash, but I've got 5000+ followers in a couple of weeks and now receiving sweet bounties spending just 30-40 minutes a day ;) And since I'm following(back) crypto enthusiasts like me, my twitter doesn't look like a trash, conversely, I am always aware of news and new bounties and airdrops.

Getting ready

At first, you should get your account ready. To get more followers you shouldn't look like a bot, so fill your account as much as you can, at least upload an avatar and a cover image. Add some hashtags in your BIO section: #followme #cryptofollow #follow4follow #followback #followme #folloback #followback #following .
In case of fast promotion twitter make lock your account and ask for verification, don't scare just make sure you have a mobile number connected to your account.

Subscribe to this lists and follow everyone who is already subscribed and wait for some time (1-2 days) and they will follow you back soon. Don't forget to check your profile and follow back to new followers too.

Non-English (especially Russian) topics are more active, so check them out. Even if you don't speak the language, just left your twitter account like there and follow everyone from last 20-30 pages.

The most difficult part is to reach 100-200 followers after that people will start to follow you themselves, just don't forget to follow back.

Some warnings

Do not use services like fastfollow, such service using your account to send spam messages, so they may harm your account more than may help.
Though Twitter's limit is 1000 follows/day I wouldn't suggest following more than 500 to avoid account blocks.
