Champions League matches this weekend

in #soccer3 years ago

We are finally back again with some great Champions League matches coming up in the upcoming days. I believe there will be several highlights, but even though there are many great matches, there is little doubt about the fact that tomorrow's match at Parc des Princes in Paris between Paris St Germain and Manchester City will be the big highlight this weekend. It is going to be a real heavyweight of a match, and it is also nice for Manchester City that they do not have much pressure on their shoulders ahead of the match.

PSG played only a draw in their opening match in Belgium against Club Brugge, while Manchester City won in one of the funniest football matches this year so far as they won 6-3 or something like that against RB Leipzig in their opening match. In other words, Manchester City can lose this match and still feel quite good about themselves, but if PSG should lose the match, they will almost be in trouble already.

PSG has won their matches and done well in Ligue 1 so far this season, but they haven't impressed. The big stars are failing at showing their qualities, and that is why Lionel Messi and Neymar (especially) are still shadows of themselves. Sergio Ramos still hasn't played, but I do hope he will start playing soon, because I have a feeling that he can have a magical effect on the team.`

Other matches...

If I should mention one other match that I would love to watch tomorrow in the Champions League, then I guess it would be the match between Atletico Madrid and AC Milan. The latter team had a great opening match against Liverpool, and even though they lost, it was packed with goals, fun, and AC Milan played amusing football.

Atletico Madrid is much like a roller coaster, and they come from a recent loss in La Liga, but it is never easy to play against the squad.

On Wednesday, the highlight might be the match between Juventus and Chelsea. It seems to me as if Juventus is just as good, or maybe even better after Ronaldo left the club. Chelsea has seem to be incredibly strong until they lost against Manchester City last weekend. It isn't the fact that they lost that surprise me, but the fact that they lost and really deserved it.

Chelsea has had a good grip on Manchester City in their last matches, but that ended on Saturday. The result was only 1-0 in favor of Manchester City, but it was very deserved, and it would have been way fairer for the match to end with a 2-0 victory for Manchester City than for it to have ended with a draw and a 1-1 result.

It might not be that interesting, but I am very curious to see if Manchester United can come back after some bad matches against Young Boys, West Ham, and Aston Villa. It will be very important, because if they should lose against Villarreal on Wednesday at Old Trafford, I almost feel as if Solskjaer would be in danger as a coach for the team. But, hopefully the stars will shine and Maguire, Pogba, Greenwood, Fernandes, Ronaldo, and the others will play extremely good football and win the match 4-0.

What do you think? Which matches are you planning on streaming in the coming days?
