The Ballon Do'r 2018 is near and there have been named the 30 players that will compete for the prestigieous award that France Football Magazine gives every year, disputed by Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo the past decade.

The french magazine was announcing all day yesterday the candidates that will opt for the trophy, being La Liga and Real Madrid with the most players nominated.

Bale, Benzema, Courtois, Isco, Marcelo, Modric, Varane, Ramos (Real Madrid); Godín, Griezmann and Oblak (Atlético de Madrid); Rakitic, Luis Suárez and Messi (Barcelona) are the representatives for the spanish championship.

The Premier League (11); League 1 (3); and Serie A (2) are the championships that complete the 30 list. By name, Real Madrid is the team with the most player in the list with 8, followed by Liverpool with 4, PSG, Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona with 3, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Juventus with 2 nd Manchester United with just 1.
