Europa League Quarter-Final draw: Arsenal get CSKA Moscow
The Gunners will face Russian opposition in the last eight of UEFA’s secondary club competition after overcoming AC Milan in the previous round.
Arsenal were expected to struggle against Milan but showed the heart and fight they have so regularly lacked all season to eventually ease through tie, winning 5-1 on aggregate and are clear favourites heading into their fixture against CSKA, who themselves got here by defeating Lyon in thrilling fashion.
Atletico are the other favourites to win this competition and they have been pitted against Sporting CP of Portugal. Diego Simeone’s men have taken no prisoners in the Europa League thus far, they completely obliterated Locomotiv Moscow in the round of 16, winning 8-1 over the two legs
In the other fixtures, Lazio will face RB Salzburg who impressively progressed ahead of Dortmund while RB Leipzig will dig it out against Marseille of France.
