The year of Sergi Roberto
The young talent scored the most important goal of his career a year ago today.
Roberto culminated the 6-1 champions league comeback against PSG.
2017 is Sergi Roberto's year, he not only scored the most importan goal of his career but also consolidated in the first team of Barcelona. This comeback was one of the clubs biggest achievements during the season, conquering the greatest comeback in the history of the Champions League, and lifting Sergi Roberto as one of its hero's.
The 8th of March will always be remembered as "a special day" for the entity, Sergi remembers the moment with happiness, "i jumped with everything, i did not know if it was going in, i just gave it all". A year later Sergi Roberto is a fix in Valverde's squad and still has a great career ahead linked to the Blaugrana's as he recently signed his 2022 contract renewal.
