Real Madrid Defeat Leganes 3-0

Real Madrid defeat Leganes in their first leg tie of the Copa del Rey round of 16, with Brahim Diaz making his debut for Real Madrid and Ramos getting his 100th career goal during the match.
The game started full of action, with a number of early chances being created. A lot would feel the first goal of the game should have come sooner than it did.
Sergio Ramos finally opened up the scoring with a fine penalty kick. Ramos pausing before the kick and waiting for the keeper to make a move, before he finally slips it into the bottom left corner of the net. The penalty giving Ramos his 100th career goal.
Lucas Vazquez doubled Madrid's lead with an easy goal from close range. Some fine Real Madrid play coming from a defensive act of generosity from Leganes. Some very poor passing by the Leganes defence seeing Real Madrid win the ball inside the box, Lucas Vazquez is then put through and he goes on to calmly place the ball in the empty net.
Junior Vinicius made it 3 goals, with a nice first time shot sent into the open net.
19 year old Diaz, who joined from Manchester City for £15 million last week, later made his debut for Madrid after coming on to replace Vinicius 12 minutes from full time.
Real Madrid ended the game with a well deserved 3-0 win and both sides will meet again for the second leg next Wednesday.
