Chelsea Grab 1-0 Win Over Crystal Palace

Chelsea won their game against Crystal Palace yesterday, claiming another narrow 1 goal lead to snatch victory from their opponents.
Chelsea dominated the possession and kept probing forward, with Palace playing a more defensive game to soak up the pressure from Chelsea. Crystal Palace put up a strong defence and continuously denied a dominant Chelsea side from scoring any goals.
The first half ended dull with no goals and not much attacking. Chelsea just had problems in going forward despite controlling most of the game and they needed to play with more urgency. Their dominance of the ball ending up being fruitless in the first half.
The second half continued in the same way, with Chelsea holding the ball in areas they can't do serious damage to their opponents. Chelsea eventually had all that ball possession pay off in the 51st minute, Kante meeting a ball from David Luiz and squeezing it over the line.
The game continues with Palace being unable to give a proper response to Chelsea's goal. Giroud almost doubling Chelsea's lead in the 73rd minute, but the goal was disallowed as an offside.
Chelsea continue to dominate the game and Crystal Palace are just unable to pose a serious threat. The game eventually ends with Chelsea holding on to their 1 goal lead to claim victory.
Although it wasn't the best performance from either side, Chelsea grab a victory and 3 precious points. They currently sit at the fourth position and 5 points above Arsenal who are at the 5th spot.
