FIFA WORLD CUP 2018, Rolando misses a GOAL on a penalty Iran nearly wins
Yesterday's Match Results
Group-A and Group-B have completed their first round matches. Two teams from each group have qualified for the knock-out stage.Uruguay and Russia from group-A whereas Spain and Portuguese from Group-B have qualified for the knock-out stage.
Yesterday the match between Portuguese and Iran was very interesting. Iran was near to qualify for the next round when the match ended in a draw. In spite of playing very well, Iranian could not make journey to the knock-out round. The most interesting moment was Portuguese were dominating with 1:0 lead when Ronaldo missed a goal on a penalty kick.
In the 45th minute of the first half of the match Portuguese player Ricardo quaresma scored a goal. But in the extra time of the second half Iranian player Karim scored a goal on a penalty due to Cedric's handball.
Portuguese next match is with Uruguay_a dangerous side, on 30th June 2018, Sochi, Fisht stadium. Portuguese will have to work hard if they want to beat the strong side on 30th June. OK friends let's see what happens then, right now we gonna have a look at tomorrow's matches.
