For this meetup we have chosen Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria in the suburb of Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria "Home to the worlds largest pizza" was chosen because of it being a pizza chain only local to Los Angeles as well as claiming the title of giant pizza. This pizzeria even hosts a famous food challenge local to Los Angeles labeled Big Mama’s & Papa’s 54″x54″ Grand Sicilian Pizza Challenge in which 8 people are given 2 hours to eat a 50lb pizza to win $1000. And as everyone loves pizza in one way or another this seemed like an appropriate spot to fill the bellies of hungry Steemians.
Date/Time: Saturday June 9th @ 2pm
Location: Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria- Eagle Rock Location 2136 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041
Directions: From Downtown Los Angeles, make your way up the 2 freeway and take exit 16 at Colorado Boulevard
From The Eastern Counties: From the 10 freeway head east and make your way up to the 210 freeway (by either the 605 north or 57 north), Then take the 134 and take exit 11 towards Colorado Boulevard
Look for the building pictured above and parking will be in the rear. @csusbgeochem1 and @derekrichardson will be patiently waiting inside to greet you!
Agenda: Meeting new Steemit members that have not already been introduced as well as converse with those that have. Catching a slice of life (pun intended). Steem Vessel Wallet will also be discuses, how to set it up as well as success using other Steem apps such as Steepshot and Zappl.
