I spent a few weeks in Southern California in 2002 for work. I was a software engineer at the time and my company was sending some of us to John Wayne airport for monitoring the baggage scanners, which my company built, and for which I wrote some of the software. It was in September I believe, and I couldn't get over how chilly it was while I was there!
