The SJW Catch 22 - Part 1

I have little doubt that we all know at least one social justice warrior. They are the He-Man/Xena - Warrior Princess of social injustice who fight tirelessly to defend the honour and rights of humanity. They stand steadfast in the face of politics and those who oppose them and relentlessly scream their slogans of empowerment to the ignorant and uneducated masses. They will spit in the face of those too weak to think for themselves; those who are employed or have been indoctrinated by the enemy of humanity. They will go to jail or face the judgement of the legal system in order to have yet another platform to be heard. Pretty noble right? Don't we need more of these 'white knights' to shatter the matrix and force us all to see? Let's investigate what I believe are the fundamental issues behind the surge of these modern 'hippies' and try to decide if they are necessary or unnucessarily annoying.

The day to day activities we engage in are essentially done in much the same way they have always been conducted. Children are rushed out the door to go to school, parents are hurriedly preparing themselves for their day ahead and everybody returns home afterwards to sit down, enjoy some time together over a lovely meal and rest up in preparation for the trials of the next day. Thank you television for portraying this vision of normal, if not dated view of family life.

Why is it that there are those who don't identify with this scenario? They're forced to deal with disillusionment brought on by the trials and tribulations of reality. Our children are growing up (?) in an ever changing world where television isn't real, politicians lie and Santa Claus is merely a stooge for multi corporate companies. Is this the foundation of a stable and balanced life? I don't think so.

Societal norms dictate that we MUST elect a person to tell us how to live, reality TV is the most entertaining form of entertainment and you can't celebrate Christmas and worship Jesus without first appeasing Santa. That Naughty/Nice List practically determines whether you go to the good place or the hot place in the minds of many. Surely somebody has to speak out for those who do as they are told, follow the rules and still live in misery and squalor. Enter, da da da daa, the Social Justice Warrior!
