LESSON #5: PRODUCTION OF CAR WASH LIQUID SOAP

After one of my training/production session

SAFETY :

it is recommended that you use Hand Glove, face Mask, Apron when carrying out this practical session because some of the items to be used are harmful. Keep out of the reach of children and food items

NOTE: LESSON #2 AND THIS LESSON ARE PREPARED SAME WAY EXCEPT THE EXCLUSION OF FEW CHEMICALS

CHEMICALS REQUIRED:
• Nitrosol
• Soda Ash
• Sulphonic Acid
• STPP (Sodium Tripoly Phosphate)
• Taxapon
• S.L.S ( Sodium lauryl Sulphate)
• Foam booster
• Perfume
• Colour
• Glycerine
• Preservative

CHEMICALS REQUIRED AND MEASUREMENT: For ten (10) litres ( i.e you need to provide 10 litres of water)
• Nitrosol … 1/8 kg
• Soda Ash … 1/8 kg
• Sulphonic Acid … ½ litre
• STPP (Sodium Tripoly Phosphate) … 1/8 kg
• Taxapon … ¼ kg
• S.L.S ( Sodium lauryl Sulphate) 1/8kg
• Foam booster .. 1 litre
• Perfume ---- to your taste
• Colour ---- to your taste
• Glycerine …. 20 ml
• Preservative 10 ml

OTHER ITEMS NEEDED ARE
• Clean bowl or basin (big enough to contain the quantity to produce)
• Wooden rod with flat end. To be used to stirring the mixture
• Other smaller bowls to pre –mix the chemicals
• Hand glove and face mask

PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR CAR WASH
j) Dissolve the Nitrosol in 6 litres of water and stir until properly dissolve
k) Dissolve soda ash in ½ litre of water and stir until the particles are dissolved, pour into the Nitrosol solution
l) Dissolve SLS in ¼ litre of water and pour into the Nitrosol solution
m) Dissolve taxapon in 1 litre of water and pour into the Nitrosol solution
n) Dissole the colourant in little quantity of water before pouring into the main solution.
o) Dissolve STPP in ¼ litre of water and pour into the Nitrosol solution
p) Turn in the sulphonic acid into the Nitrosol solution
q) Add in the glycerine, perfume, Preservative and foam booster into the Nitrosol solution and stir properly until it is fully blended.
r) Allow the soap bubbles to disappear before packaging for use or sales.

NOTE: S.L.S and TEXAPON perform similar function. You may use any of them. For cost reduction, it is advisable to use one of them.
The production of each of this product will put more SBD in your pocket, it will give you steem power too
