Living Off (On) Crypto

Snowboarding update two weeks ago kind of got pushed to the side. After riding all day, my mind was cleared and the following two weeks became consumed by a renewed drive and focus on Harju Gaming Network. Before discussing that, in another post, here are some of those snowboarding photos. No "action"(or lack there of) shots.

When you arrive at Mt. Hood Meadows, the photo below is what people are currently presented with. This is something you would generally see during spring months. While the mountain isn't quite covered like it typically is, the sight of a light white snow-blanket was a welcoming view. (*edit, as I type this, it is dumping snow on the mountain.) Gearing up wasn't a drawn-out task, and getting on-hill to ride was rather expedient.

It was beautiful. A bit chilly, which was good for the snowpack.

Getting onto the lift, it was apparent that snow coverage was extremely low. Riding required a lot more attention to surroundings. Though, that basically made the entire mountain a skate-park, if ridden a certain way. Hips to boost off, logs to jib and rocks to ollie. It was a mini-shred paradise.

Coverage was low. Pay attention!

Getting to a higher elevation it was still rather cold. Which meant the coverage that wasn't being melted / refrozen by the sun, was holding and staying. Though barely.

Mt. Hood (regardless of which resort) is gorgeous any time of year. Though, winter is preferred.

Won't bore anyone with a description. Typical lift-selfie. First ride of the season, it's required (...I think).

After riding for only a handful of hours, it was apparent that the trip was long overdue. Another one is to come soon! After holiday break, of course. Those crowds are brutal... unless it dumps, of course.

Not stoked, at all...
