Women
On this special, I would like to dedicate my post to all women living in our small world. Even though women are in all our parts of our lives, some people still can't learn how to respect them and understand the importance of equality between genders. Women are in all parts of our lives in different roles. They are sometimes our partners and sisters, or our mothers whom we are always thankful. As you can see, they are really important, but we still can't appreciate enough.
Women in different parts of the world are still facing with lots of problems, no matter where they live. However, there is more inequality in undeveloped countries. I don't want to name the countries here, but when we look at the charts showing the inequality between genders in the world map, it is really easy to spot the countries where our women have serious problems. In this post, I am going to mention those issues to create more awareness.
Education
Education is the key point to create well-developed countries. If we want to have people who know the importance of equality, we must educate them well. However, there is a big problem in educating girls in undeveloped countries where some girls are not allowed to go to schools. Their families think that their girls don't need to have education and they guide their daughters to get married as soon as possible and keep them away from the society.
When you don't educate your women, you can't expect them to be happy in the society. As they are not educated, they can't see what is happening in the world. Thus, they are always dependent on men. Being dependent on somebody or something is the worst thing ever since you can't make your own decisions and draw a route for yourself. In countries where girls are not educated, they are usually trapped inside the houses. The lack of education causes some other serious problems.
Violence
In the last years, there have been many incidents related to violence caused in countries which are both developed and undeveloped. It is possible to see people showing violence on women even in the most developed European countries. In general, it happens mostly in some countries where people are not educated well. Most of the time, men who see themselves as the only creatures that are allowed live in this great planet show violence.
I don't want to name tragic incidents, but unfortunately it is really easy to see some examples of it when you do some small research on internet. The sad point is that it is getting worse and worse even though there are many organizations which are trying to create awareness by different means of tools in all parts of the world. Some living creatures can't understand that there is no right for anyone in the world to show violence on women. We are all equal!
Working life
It is another problem that women are facing with. In many countries, no matter how developed they are, there is a big inequality between genders at workplaces. When we look at the chats showing people joining workforce in all countries, we can see that especially in undeveloped countries, women can't take part in working life which means that they are either dependent on some helping organizations or men which is not good at all.
Even though some of them are lucky to be a part of workforce, they may not get the same amount of salary when they work under the same working conditions. You may think that it only happens in undeveloped countries, but it is possible to see this huge inequality in countries that we call really modern. As you can understand from all these problems, it is really hard to be a woman in this world since there isn't equality between genders in many points.
Final note
Even though this day seems like a day when people buy present for women, it is not actually for that. This is the day when we should work together and harder. When you are silent in the moment of violence on women, you must remember that that woman could be your mother or wife. That's why, lets create solidarity and make this world better for everybody.
