Creating A Steemit Account Using steeminvite.com
I came across @pharesim's post introducing https://steeminvite.com. I think this tool will help inviting people to Steemit a lot more enticing, avoiding the current wait time to get an account approved. The fitting logo for the project was created by @orcheva.
Because the process involves financial transaction for the cost of creating an account (0.200 STEEM), and delegation (29 STEEM POWER), you will be asked to login using your active key. @pharesim did mention in his post: Invite your friends to Steem! steeminvite.com now live about using Steemconnect for logging in future developments. I've posted a weekend crafts day with my kids and added @steemitph near my photo, and @littlesteemitph near her photo as shown below. Friends started asking me if the kids are already in Steemit and said we are still thinking about that. With the ease of creating an account offered in using steeminvite.com, I decided to try and register that username. I of course cannot just create an account for little @steemitph and not for our other daughter little @dandalion; @dandalioncub.

It says I am logged in as myself, talks about the cost and delegations involved, and the number of account I can create. The only real option to move forward from this page is to click the "invite someone now" button.

Label - This is just for the host to identify the invite. This can be anything, name of the invitee for example, or the number you assigned to the invite.

After clicking on create invitation, your open invites will show in the lower portion of the page like shown below:

After clicking on the link the invitee will be brought to a Steeminvite Registration page, which will give the key. The invitee will be told to keep the key safe. The next page will then look like this which will ask the invitee to enter a preferred username:
The invitee will be asked to enter the key he/she was told to keep safe just to ensure that he/she did keep it.
Click on "Create Account" Button
The inviter will see the "Create Account" button next to the invite which has been accepted. After clicking on the button, will be asked to enter the active key to confirm the transaction, and done. Here are the accounts for @dandalioncub and @littlesteemitph as shown in SteemD.
I love how this will make inviting people to Steemit much easier. Our daughters might not not necessarily start using these account right away, but it is there - reserved when we are ready to bring them to the platform. The logging using active key might become a cause for concern over security, and hopefully gets moved to Steemconnect soon.
