SND Summer Camp Task #3: I Am Here In Steemit To Be Part of The History To Change This World Into A Better Place
After the end of cold war, there are arguments between Francis Fukuyama and Samuel Huntington. Francis Fukuyama said that after the cold war then we will be living in the era of the end of history, we will recycle what happened before in the world on and on, it will remain the same. Samuel Huntington against that statement with the arguments that we are going to have the clash of civilization where people will fight against each other to find their “truly” identity as an adjustment and westernization will happened all around the world.
I learned about them when I was studying at Sydney University for International Studies a long time ago. But, I can’t forget about those two arguments that during my study, those two arguments were on their peaks. Yes, it was 90’s with its rumbling rebellions that happened everywhere. I do agree with both arguments, what happened today is exactly what they said a long time ago. We thought we will have much better world after the cold war with love, peace, and freedom just like dreams of the ‘60’s., but well, most of the time we need to accept the truth, aren’t we?!
I am so excited when I found out about blockchain technology and crypto currency. Before I learned more about it, I could feel that this could be the one, the one that we need to continue the history since we could find our truly identity as human being. I really love algorithm as well, and when I know that we use algorithm for this new technology, I was so excited. For me, algorithm is the most democratic, fair, and natural sytem that allow us to get our freedom, nothing to force, just let everything happened happens. One day, we will find the best community in the world that will continue the world history with a lot of breakthrough and original inventions through creativity, and those who still stuck with the past will be left behind.
Then as soon as I decided to join Steemit, I know exactly what I am doing. People may say that I am too naif that most people join Steemit for the reward, but hey, I still have my job and business, hey, I am investing my future in here! For me, it is useless to join Steemit without clear visions of tomorrow and the future, that is why we all keep on debating about upvotes, rewards, bots, and so on. Just read Steemit FAQ on the welcome page and Steemit whitepaper, I think it is clear enough to explain that the reason why we have to join Steemit is to make a history of changes, reward is something that supposed to be seen as a way to understand how actually we can share and appreciate each other in a very easy way. The more we share and we give, the more we can get. We don’t have to ask, what we have to do is to understand, to give, and to share. That’s it!

Certainly, it is not easy at all to invest something new, especially about the future. We can not expect that all people are educated themselves enough to be able to think further and beyond, especially when we get used to and drawn to the deepest “comfortable sanctuary” of today’s situations and conditions. But, we should never stop just because of this people. It becomes a challenge, at least for my self, to think further and further, try to find ideas and a new ways to actualize our dreams, a better world and future. We, not we, perhaps I should thank to all people who continue living in the past and today, who are afraid and have no idea what to do for tomorrow. Without them, I will never have a will to move on to the next step, be part of the history of changes.
I am willing to get involve in any community that have visions with good missions for the future, which not only have positive impact to Steemit but also in the real world. I learn that @snd have programs which consitence to the visions and missions, to help to get a better life and future through creative ideas that suitable as well to be implemented in the real world. The thing that I like as well about @snd is that all the programs are encourage people to analyze and to think to have ideas, to be as creative as possible. And I am willing to be part of the community, I believe I have lots of things to share which could support the programs.
I am a teacher, a writer, and I do painting as well as drawing. In Steemit, I try to build Indonesia Steemit Community in Bandung, West Java and other areas, as steem ambassador and member of @ocd curator for Indonesian Language. In real life, I teach writing, painting, and drawing to children, students, and adults from different kind of communities, as part of my mission to educate people through creativity. I have my own business which is related to herbal cosmetics and coffee, and I teach politics, international relationships, and defends, I do a lot of research and active in a lot os social, helath, and education programs, and I write books, articles, and others for some purposes as well. I am not young anymore, I am almost 44 years old, but I still have strong will to spend my days with something that might be useful for tomorrow. Besides, Indonesia is very large, one of the most populous country, and very promising country, and I am sure we can do something good in Indonesia with Steemit and communities to make sure that we are part of the history of changes, to actualize our visions and missions, to have a better world and future.
This is my writing for the 3rd task of @snd summer camp challenge.
Thanks again to @sndbox, @guyfawkes4-20, and @anomadsoul for giving all Steemian a chance to follow this visioner contest. This is my submit for the second task. All the best!

Saya suka kata-kata; "to make a history of change". Salam sukses
Hahaha... iya tuh lagu enak banget... semoga kita semua tidak juga terjebak dalam "another brick on the wall" seperti lagu Pink Floyd... salam hangat selalu...
Sip.
Terang dan jelas apa yang dimaksudkan. Ya, Indonesia memang negara yang memiliki potensi besar dalam hal peluang dan sasaran atas program yang mengemban missi baik ini.
Salam @mpugondrong
semoga semua Steemian menyadarinya yah agar kita semua bisa bersatu mewujudkan mimpi indah ini.
