My entry for @sndbox's thumbnail competition.

After making this post, I got an advice from @fisteganos to make the background less busy.
I intended to make this update in a new post but I think it is ideal to put it in here.

Concept

Since @sndbox's colors were very important factors of the design, I decided to do a mashup of the logo arranged in block form. Then I made a clipping mask on the texts separately.

• I also read the incubator program schedule for 2018. I grabbed the image for January-May program and placed it in the design.
  This will speak to readers even before they read the posts.

Font type

• I used the Steemit's font; Proxima Soft for 'sndbox' text and evogria for 'state of the' text.

Other inputs

To me, design is inspirational.

I can't really explain all the the things I did.

I have seen a couple of great designs and I must confess, it's a great competition.

Tools/Techniques Used

• Brush tool (I applied some sandy looking grains)

3 Hours (involves rendering and re-rendering, editing, erasing, readjustments and color precision)

Hex Color Code

I took the pain to define the color codes for @sndbox

The codes are: ff9999, 33cccc, 669999 and 996699

Procedure

• First, I obtained the logo of @sndbox from the website sndbox.co.
  

• Then I made way to resize the image by increasing its resolution after which I made the selection of the logo with magnetic lasso tool and deleted the empty areas in order to have an empty background.

Necessity

I made sure I used the logo of @sndbox as part of the design.
I highlighted the colors of @sndbox in all the elements of the design.
