I remember playing on a virtual reality machine back in the early 90s. It was at a mall in Cincinnati and the graphics were awful of course but it was a lot of fun. It is weird how it seems to have sort of just gone away for 25 years.
I was also shocked to learn that VR has been around for quite some time. From an article I read somewhere, it was mainly used for military purposes and they couldn’t quite solve the motion sickness issue due the hardware not being powerful enough, which is why it never made it to consumer market till 2015.
You probably wouldn’t happen to remember what headset was that, would you?
LOL! Stick figures, but SO cool! I have often wondered why that never seemed to go anywhere.
