Who would think that human beauty has to do with mathematics?

All we have to do is explore the human body to realize many enigmas trapped in the knowledge of our body, and that we could reveal it within what I would call "the beauty of mathematics". For example, there is a fabulous number that appears again and again in many of the different proportions of the body, both of the woman and of the man, such is the case of the gold number. His presence is so frequent that in the past he thought God had created us based on that number. Incredibly, it is also found in nature and some of its phenomena.

For all the above expressed I believe that true beauty can be seen from the mathematical, at the same time we must warn that those concepts that identify beauty with erroneous patterns such as "90-60-90" represents a distortion and trivialization of this idea.

Mathematics is expressed in the diversity of contexts in our world, in addition to beauty, many other topics and situations can be studied and understood from this discipline, allowing changes and necessary transformations in our way of thinking and acting on the problems that affect the community and society in general. They are clear examples of social community problems, which in turn find a solution within mathematics, among these I can mention: the delimitation of rectangular regions in a field, the calculation of the body mass index (BMI), the distribution and decent use of our free time, the description of the path followed by a fishing vessel crossing a river, the distribution of communal gas, the sale of gasoline or bread in the community, the calculation of agricultural production by varying the number of plants per hectare, data on life expectancy in Venezuela and in the world.

Each and every one of the topics mentioned above and many others are closely related to mathematical concepts such as the real number and the operations between them, the Pythagorean theorem, Euclid's theorems and Thales' theorem, trigonometric ratios, vectors, systems of linear equations, quadratic equations, functions, intervals, statistics and probabilities.

It is the purpose of this publication to match the natural link between mathematics and the applicability of its laws to the entire environment of all social, natural and philosophical phenomena that are present in the day to day of our lives. The understanding and learning of mathematics will bring more and more communities to the study of certain real situations of social events, and will also help in the formation and conviction of the inhabitants to whom they have been disproportioned and evicted from this knowledge.

An essential part of mathematical beauty is all those activities that are developed in the context and principles of human activities, interrelating each mathematical aspect with the communities, and that as the knowledge and learning of mathematics is developed and expanded, it is take value and importance in each observer, in different parts of the world, all the elements that lead to critical thinking and the necessary action to contribute in an important way in the construction of a just and sovereign society is part of all that contribution that can provide the beauty and beauty of mathematics.

Potentialities

Other mathematical beauties are found in mathematics education, in which we can find enormous potential to study the diversity of phenomena of the world and the existing relationship with it. Such potential gains greater validity in the face of the devastating impact of man on natural resources, the environment, biodiversity, and the great inequalities that have been settled in the bosom of humanity itself.

In such a context, mathematical ideas constitute a point of entry for the description and understanding of such phenomena, and beyond, represent an element to undertake the necessary actions and transformations.

This approach to mathematics education implies that the learning activity is characterized by individual and collective research involving individuals from different classes of academic formation, where the research essence can grow under the scenario of inquiries, inferences, deductions, analysis, contrasting of ideas, methods and results, which naturally implies more open forms of communication and interaction, which invites us to think of new strategies in the process in which the true essences and beauties of mathematics are learned.

The important and beautiful of mathematics lies in the possibility that it continues to evolve towards human development, where it seeks to break with some traditions that have assigned part of mathematics education as is the case of the emphasis on algorithms as the only mathematical element to studying, or the untying of mathematical ideas with the context of human reality, we all have the need and duty to leave behind the tendencies that have negatively marked the image of this field of knowledge, especially in a good part of the mass youth.
