Snake Bite

Many snake catchers have wounds to show. This photo is of a game guide in the Kruger National Park who caught and got bitten by a baby Puff Adder. The venom of the puff adder can be likened to "acid". Causing much pain and destroying the flesh. This often results in the loss of a finger or toe. The Puff Adder bite may also be fatal to man, though only about 26% of untreated bites prove to be fatal.
Mambaman first caught a Highly Dangerous snake in 1981 and to date (touch wood) has not been bitten.

oouch so sad

my teacher was also bitten by snake but he didn't do any harm to snake he is so kind to animal and plant ; lets say to nature
may be someday I can share you his image and his work

when ever we see a snake we call him and he can manage the snake in well mannered

That would be so nice if you could show me pictures of snakes from your area

This is interesting. We have few snakes catchers in my town. A year back two king cobras laid small snakes in my relatives store room. They were many in numbers. My relative called a snake catcher and they were removed sucessfully. As per government rules these snakes were handed over to forest department.

This photo goes to prove that my fear of snakes is not unfounded... Chapeau to all the snake catchers.
Where we live there are only four species of snakes, only one of which is venomous (and I doubt it is fatal to humans), so I'm not to worried. But in spring when the temperatures rise, they start coming out and you can see quite many.
