A Rarest Snakes In The World:Wagner’s Viper

Despite the fear they put in many people, snakes are actually under threat in their own natural environment.It is going to be extinct due to human's cruelty.

Wagner’s Viper:

Vipera wagneri, or the ocellated mountain viper,a venomous snake which generally found in the territory of northwest iran and eastern turkey.This snake likes the rocky and grassy area.

But recently this type of snake enlisted as endangered species because the growing up people have been ruining its habitat.

Apart from this many numbers of this snakes have been capturing as pet of people.Recenelty a estimation is enclosed that only 2500 snakes are left in the are of wild.

This snake named after a great german explorer
Moritz Wagner who collected the first documented specimen in 1846.

To rescue the snake from the extinction ,the st.louis zoo took a initiative to its breeding area.

About 9 babies was born at the zoo in August 2013.
