Buko Juice: Step by Step

Homemade Buko Juice

Today we decided to have buko juice. I don't if it's harvest time but this past few weeks we've been having lots of coconut fruit ready for harvesting.

So here are the steps on how to prepare buko juice!

Ingredients

  • Coconut fruits
  • Canned Condensada Milk
  • Biscuit Crackers
  • White Sugar

Procedure

  • Peel the coconut fruit at the top of its shape to remove the juice first.

  • Pour all of the coconut juice in a big jar that can contain at least 3 liters.

  • Chop the fruit into two and then scrape the flesh inside using a stainless coconut grater scraper.

  • Scoop the scraped flesh using a spoon and mix it inside the jar.

  • Open the can of condensada milk and pour it into the jar. This will add a very sweet taste of milk in the juice.

  • Break the crackers into pieces and then mix it in the jar together with the condensada.

  • You can add white sugar to the juice if it doesn't taste sweet enough. Just dissolve the white sugar with a hot water in the empty can of condensada milk to scrape off the remaining milk too.

  • This is the product. A homemade buko juice!

You can add more coconut flesh and juice if the jar is not yet full. Also, it's best when eaten cold. So you can refrigerate it, or you can just add ice cubes. Either will do.

Also we actually prepared baked potatoes for this but we were not able to eat it. We're already full from the buko juice alone.
