My son got snack

I got my son a snake last week. I heard a rumor that snakes are good pets because they only eat twice a month and they don't need much in the way of walking or grooming.

My son is elated. He named the snake Kevin.

Everything was going well until Kevin's first night, when he slithered out of his cage just in time for us to walk into my son's room and catch him, hanging out on the top of the cage, waiting to make his next move.

Turns out I am utterly terrified of snakes.

It's going to be OK, this particular variety only gets about 6 feet long and only lives for around 20 years.

Hold me.
