Also if anyone else has some outside takes on the subject I'd love to hear em.
My outside take is this will likely solve the whale and bot problem. If you look at steemhunt that already operates as if SMTs were out (you can claim the tokens after SMTs are released) then you can see how good content actually rises to the top organically.
