Daily Green Smoothie Recipe: Ginger Carrot Pineapple Smoothie

Hi Steemers,

Today's green smoothie is a bit more brown than usual.
I've added a carrot to the smoothie since we had one left in the fridge.

That's one of the great things about green smoothies, you can empty your fridge with it.
The combination of ginger, carrot, and pineapple is definitely a winner!

I've also added a dash of fresh turmeric. Because, ... fresh turmeric, you know?

This is completely optional, though.

Here's the full recipe:

Serves: 2

1 cup bok choy
1 cup pineapple
1 cup carrot
Knob of ginger (about thumb sized)
Small knob of turmeric
1 cup banana
1 cup papaya
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

Instructions

Blend bok choy, mint, carrot, ginger, turmeric, and water until smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend again.
Add superfoods/toppings - such as goji berries, hemp hearts, or raw cacao nibs - if you like.
