I've never smoked a cigarette but I've smoked a thousand poorly rolled joints

I bet I've been offered a few hundred cigarettes in my life and not one time did I ever think to accept the offer. I never wanted to smoke a cigarette.

I was around a lot of smoking as a child, but both my parents were nonsmokers. I wonder if my parents had enough influence over me, to keep me from even thinking of trying to smoke a cigarette.

I can't remember my parents riding me about not smoking. I think I had just made up my mind as a young kid to never smoke a cigarette.

I don't dislike being around cigarette smoke and I've never been offended by cigarette smokers near me.

Maybe I've been addicted my whole life, and I've been getting my nicotine fix from second hand smoke my whole life.

When I was offered my first hit from a marijuana joint, I happily accepted the offer. I was a chronic pot smoker as a teenager and I preferred smoking out over drinking beers.

I guess, smoking a joint was so much more appealing than smoking a cigarette from watching characters like Jeff Spicoli in my youth.
