Adopted in Parliament; smoking package comes in one type of smoking application
The Law on the Amendment of Certain Laws and Decree Laws adopted at the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament also enlarges smoking bans. One of these regulations is that in 2016, the bag was introduced into the law but then the bag was removed from the law.
Brand will not exceed 5 percent of the package
According to the new regulation, the brand will be printed on only one surface of the package and no more than 5 percent of this surface. No logo, symbol or other marks of the brand will be placed on the packages. These rules also apply to boxes of tobacco products that contain more than one package.
Cases related to cigarette packages designed as one type will be arranged by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry by taking the appropriate opinion of the Ministry of Health.
This arrangement before the date of entry into force produced in Turkey or imported tobacco products, within 7 months, Prevention of Damages of Tobacco Products Control And the rules and prohibitions of the Law on will be made available to regulating substances. This period can be extended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry until 6 months.
