RE: "Blue Bits" by Nowhere Near (electro-acoustic Blues Rock Electronica music video)

in #smlchallenge6 years ago (edited)

This is such a great piece of fusion music @onemedia I'm listening to it again and loving every segment of it, it has a very original approach and a great gradual syncopation of the instruments, everything is everywhere but in unison at the same time, and I love how you incorporated a violin and blue notes, great work, keep on making what you love

I greatly appreciate your encouragement here, Ivan, it means a lot. Of course I am rather impressed by your work, also. I think we both have something in our inner ear, that can perceive what others merely aren't tuned to. I look forward to hearing and engaging more with you through steemit and discord/SMA Radio ... You are certainly among the musicians I'd love to work with in the future...

Same here @onemedia I greatly appreciate you thoughts and would love to work on something, I'm sure we can work on something that could incorporate me. In example it crossed my mind that we could maybe do something in style of Sun Araw or Panda Bear, I'm sure you will appreciate this genres :)

Fascinating ... Both seem to have a Polynesian/Hawaiian vocal sound. Sun Araw has a definite Surf Music feel, Panda Bear has an electronica undercurrent beneath the island vocals ... I'm amazed how both of these have a huge following and I never heard of either!

Exotic/World/Island Downtempo Electronica ... those are the words I could describe these, and yes, I do appreciate these genres!

Sure, I am open to this and quite enthused to dig into this!

Yeah, however which way you would like to proceed ... Start off with your first and foremost inclination ...

Most welcome sir..

@onemedia Yeah Panda Bear (Animal Collective) and Sun Araw are quite popular with the psychedelic audience. Yes I would love to collab on something similar, this were just an examples, you go on and create something you feel and pass it along to me to make some vocals, I'm sure you will create something awesome (no pressure). Just make structure and don't scatter so much, so it is suitable for vocals, but still be you, cause I am really anticipating what will become out of two of us collaborating :)

Alright! Something perhaps downtempo psychedelic... and yes, not too busy or crowded, to give room for, and an intuitive place to fit in the vocals, unless you have something else specific in mind ... Do you have a key in which your voice works best?

@onemedia My voice tends to sound best in B and B#
yes downtempo psychedelic works for me, just do whatever you feel ATM of making it

Yes!!! Alright then, flow of the moment ... I'll definitely pull something out for you before Friday ...

Cool man, no rush :) just let it flow and we'll make it beautiful
