Mechanical Transformation
Us, humans .It is extremely difficult to explain or even start explaining what makes us humans so difficult to comprehend? However, it is at the same time as simple as being able to talk or listen.
What do we survive upon?
Is it our continuous search towards finding our (individual) purpose? is it money? Or it’s just wanderlust? Probably it is all of the above, yet, it may be concluded into a single expression that keeps us alive. Is it love? Or for others ‘hate’, though any single expression or emotion that drives the individual human comes in this category.
We, humans are designed to interact, to converse and to relate with our other fellow humans. We live not only on the basic chemical needs of our body but something little more complex, it can be argued that it might just be another chemical reaction taking place in our body that’s too complex to understand but then it has no physical proof of its presence and yet it takes such a big toll on our existence our lives. It is our ‘soul’!
According to science the concept of a soul maybe under strict debate, yet it does exist. An Australian biologist Jeremy Griffith says “the source of our moral guidance, the voice of which is our conscience, and which we have learnt to call our ‘soul ’.” We feel it rattling under our body (physical self) when in love, when happy or simply when we are inspired by a melody that connects us to our most precious memories and it even acts up in not so pleasant negative scenarios or memories. All of these feeling are without control or beyond our brains approval.
These emotions separate us from ‘machines’ and makes us human. Emotions such as care, fear, love, sadness or anger makes us feel more ‘natural’ than ‘mechanical’. It is indeed the ‘human spirit’ or ‘will power’ that defines us.
What contaminates these virtues is simple. It is when one moves away from being sensitive and irresponsive towards emotion. A machine responds to commands and that is that! We; respond when triggered emotionally. Our departure from being sensitive towards the human condition and the reality of our family system began when we lost touch with our mode of survival, ‘interaction’.
We became dependant on machines. We no longer regard the importance and value of the ‘human interaction’ as we are surprisingly happy with our mechanical toys.
Our human sensitivity differs from every individual beings emotional metabolism yet taking our mechanical transformation, yet it is a topic of the masses. We see how our insecurities are what lead us to these mechanical toys we dwell into. Most of security or privacy which leads us to close off ourselves.
Becoming virtual avatars of ourselves like stuffing ourselves into an interactive cocoon, that lets us become more closed off than we realize. That keeps us thinking we are more socially connected than ever. This delusion does not infest itself by just being one person’s delusion, but is vindicated by all the masses. Responding to what might be pointed as mass hysteria or as now it has become part of the everyday norm. Does it mean we have become interactive pods? Or has this world become a machine? Robots as humans and (vice versa)? Being an epidemic that it is.
In light of social networking, it has made us globally closer or has it made us further apart? Has it made our lives easier, in terms of communication and ended our insecurities? Or has it made us more closed off and endangered our security, by making us more accessible? Social interaction is important for our human survival. However, we have made our lives more vulnerable or accessible than we should and would prefer. We have stepped in to an era where we cannot ignore these fundamental changes around us. As ignorance is known to be bliss, this transformation is slowly starting to define us. From our personal and individual identities to our pets’ gender, we have given up our intellectual freedom for speed, it used to be that speed did not matter that much because the distance was more important, now this is not physics, so it means the journey was more important than the destination. Now the ‘journey’ has become obsolete though reaching the destination is now so fast it could be more like teleportation. This speed, these quick reflexes of our robotic pets to answer questions about anything and anyone we want. It has made even the simplest of our human needs so mechanical as speed has become a necessity. Patience or waiting for whatever has become the least acceptable option, knowing we have all the choices and options but now were predetermine on some default options like without those particular choices of options the human process would come to a halt. Now all left to do is see, is it all that bad?
Would it all, the human self ignorance which leads to hate? or a mechanical hold over humanity? Is there a chance of any hope, any feeling or any such connection? Or would the human nature be more connected by this feeling of never being doubted being at an unparticular scenario where the human nature could be or would be wrong. Or would our human condition ever appreciate moderation or change? There are quite more of an elusive upside to take on this inevitable change. What this technology can make us establish is immeasurable, if done or used in the right way or path. Yet now another argument of what is right and what is wrong, who decides it. Seeing as the basic tool used to determine right from wrong is the ‘soul’ but it is not the only tool used for this particular decision with many variables. In other words ‘where to draw the line? ‘as our consciousness is rising but with no tool, instrument or machine to measure Ascension, so the question becomes, “What is the line?”
