That's true! Rostov is Region (Oblast). It's actually Southern Western territory of Russia. Just Like California in States)) So that Vladivostok could be compared to Florida according to this analogy, though climate in Vladivostok is quite different from Florida, though Climate of Rostov Region is a bit similar to Californian (especially to San-Francisco) with only 1-2 months of winter difference.
Where in States do you live?
it's true, this is just how it looks on a map. would love to come check it out.....I live in california and when I met my wife she was living in florida.....so that's pretty cool. I have only been to Orenburg Oblast and it was pretty cool, It's fascinating to me ....Vladivostok winter is mild to in comparison,,,,but much colder than I am used to.
