    Lol . I am not sure how it got there. I think someone bought it and put it on display right next to the Queen Mary. It is kind of a side attraction.

    We actually went to Long Beach to see the Queen Mary, but the submarine was a nice bonus.

    Ah..
    I wondered how USA captured Soviet Submarine.
    I thought some situation like the movie 'Red October', 'Phantom', or so.

    But now I can see..

    Yes, after USSR collapsed after a century long Communism experiment has failed,
    Russia sold out many things including AirCraft Carriers etc, and submarine can be one of them.

    Queen Mary is UK ship, I guess, and is now displayed for some time being ?
