Farolim de Felgueiras

The lighthouse or “Farolim de Felgueiras” also known as, Farol de Felgueiras, Farolim do Molhe de Felgueiras or Farolim Cabeça de Molhe located on the right-hand side of the Douro River, is a Portuguese Lighthouse who stands on the “ponta do molhe”, just in front of the “Fortress de Foz Douro”. The construction is “neoclassic and hexagonal”, he has a height from about 10 meters and is from 1886. The lighthouse is deactivated in the year 2009, the light reaches before that time 9 sea miles long.
