Beer with leftovers
For my #BeerSaturday post this week I used some leftovers with my beer.
A friend had a birthday party last weekend and I came home with a plate of leftovers.
And what better way to enjoy a plate of leftovers but with a beer.
This one is a Raspberry Lime Ale. I thought it sounded interesting so I picked it up to try.
With a name like Tartastic I wasn't sure how it would taste. It was actually pretty good. It mostly tasted like a nice, fruity beer with a slight tart lime aftertaste. Not too bad.
The next night was another leftover night. I picked up some chicken pieces and added them to some corn tortillas, cheese, and salsa leftover from previous weeks.
It was very good. But it needed a beer. I decided on a huckleberry honey.
I've had this one before. It has a nice huckleberry flavor and is very drinkable.
Interesting on the Tartastic I was wondering what it would be like. I have had the Huckleberry Honey, which was ok, not great.
Nice post, I normally don't like the fruity beers to much, but this one looks good.
I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed.
