Beer - From a brewery, and my own
For this week's #BeerSaturday I have some beer pictures from a local brewery. Plus some of my own getting bottled.
We went to Lolo Peak Brewing last night for dinner. I have had a cold and was on cold medicine so I took it easy and had ginger ale. They make their own though so it is quite tasty. My wife had the Alpenglow wheat ale. This is her go to there. Not too strong but good flavored.
She followed it with a dopplebock. It looked good. She said it was tasty and potent. I'll have to go back and have some.
I did finally try the bread bowl clam chowder. Just as good as a cup of chowder but I got to eat the bowl.
Today we bottled some beer I have been brewing. It is a wheat ale that I soaked some apples in.
We sterilized and layed out the bottle caps.
And we cleaned and sterilized the bottles.
Here's the beer in the brewing bucket ready for bottling.
And now it is bottled.
And with caps on we are done.
Looking forward to trying it in a couple of weeks.
Mmmmm beer! Alpen Glow is my favorite because anything stronger and I can't stay awake after 2 of them. :)
