Natural superiority, and Its not about the pixels

I call this one Natural superiority, Its a lightly edited photograph, the original unedited version is right below.
The photo was taken with a Canon T5 and a screw on macro lens, I did some minor editing in photoshop as you can see.

This picture really got me thinking about something me and a friend debated a few weeks ago, I was trying to argue how mobile phone cameras are making regular cameras obsolete, I thought of my Huawei P20 Pro and its a 40-megapixel camera while this Canon Camera is only 18-megapixel.

But it's not all about the megapixels one photographer told me long ago when we talked about phone cameras and megapixels where mentioned he said, they are not what is crucial, the lens is really key and with DSLR's and SLR's (types of cameras) You have a wide array of options for lenses that will can give you more flexibility and creative freedom.

The mobile phone camera is fixed, Some phones try to combat this by using multiple lenses in their phones many phones now come with 2 back facing cameras, my Huawei P20 Pro comes with 3 cameras on the back!

I actually made a piece from this shell before and posted it a few weeks ago, I took that picture with my Huawei P20 Pro. I love the phone but the problem I find with is the phone has some trouble focusing on things very close to the lens, I am going to look into some lens attachment options for the phone but the 3 camera set up may prevent that from being possible.
