Be ready to replace your laptops / tablets with Foldable Smartphone…!

Foldable smartphones will run on Android.

Samsung is planning to launch a foldable screen smartphone early next year, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

DJ Koh (CEO of Samsung's Mobile Division) mentioned earlier this year, Samsung was making progress on the foldable smartphone.

Samsung announced & displayed the foldable smartphone called Galaxy-X at CES 2018 in meetings, and they are planning to begin production in November.

Price:
Samsung foldable smartphone may cost at least $2,200.

Foldable smartphones use?
Foldable smartphones would be more useful for videos, reading (because of larger screen). These type of smartphones will be replacement of tablets and laptops.

Look & Configuration:
Main display inside the covers & exterior will have a notification display on the front & a camera on the back. Main display will have a 7.3-inch screen & may have a 3,000 mAh battery. Due to use of 3,000 mAh battery there will be less heat dissipation.

Samsung is building some changes to the interface for the changing form factor which was the main issue with ZTE Axon M, ensuring quality and reliability of the display, batteries.

Pending work is like ensuring great quality of battery life, durability of the screen, and how well the device can stand up between smartphone and tablet modes.

How about other companies?
Huawei, LG & Oppo is also planning to launch their foldable devices in 2019.

Looks like, Apple is not planning to introduce foldable smartphone until 2020 / 2021.

So, Samsung is more likely to have advantage to grab attention of worldwide users.
