The Android 11 software has been extended to devices running Android Go. The Android 11 (Go edition) system is available for smartphones starting today.

Android 11 (Go edition) has some of the features that this week's more advanced smartphones with Android 11. For users of devices running Android Go, can now get a slightly newer experience with new features, quoted from Slashgear.

This update will optimize the software so that applications load faster, and a set of security features are now enabled by default.

If you grant the app access to the microphone, location, camera, files, etc., you can grant that permission once if you want. Every time you re-enter the app, you can re-grant your permission or deny it.

There's also the automatic resetting of app permissions that you didn't use at the same time. Android 11 (Go edition) puts the messaging app in a special space in your notification drop-down menu.

Android 11 (Go edition) also adds gesture-based navigation for some devices so you can go to the home screen, navigate backward, and smoothly switch between apps using simple swipes.

In particular, Google says that from October 2020 Android (Go edition) will be available on all devices with up to 2GB of memory. Besides, according to Sagar Kamdar, VP of Product Management for Android at Google said it will come with an additional free storage space of up to 900MB, enough to take up to 300 selfies and download entire movies.
