History of Mark Chapman(cricketer)

Mark Sinclair Chapman also known as mark chapman was born on 27 June 1994 is a cricketer who has played for Hong Kong and New Zealand(From Feb 2018). Chapman is a left-handed batsman who is also a handy slow left-arm orthodox. He made his International debut for Hong Kong in the 2015–17 on 16 November 2015. In February 2018, he was added to New Zealand's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2017–18 Trans-Tasman Tri-Series. He is eligible to represent New Zealand because his father holds NewZeland Citizen ship.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

Chapman was born on 27 June 1994 in Hong Kong to a Chinese mother and a New Zealand father. He went to boarding school in New Zealand at the age of 14 and Later he studied at the University of Auckland. He played for the Hong Kong under-19 team at the 2010 Under-19 World Cup at the age of 15.Chapman made his World Cricket League debut for Hong Kong at the 2011 Division Three tournament.

International Career

November 2015, is the date where Chapman never forgets as Chapman was selected as vice-captain in Hong Kong's squad for its two World Cricket League Games against the UAE, both of which held ODI status. On his ODI debut in the first match, he scored 124 runs , becoming the first Hong Kong player to score an ODI century and also 10th assosiate player.Chapman is also Known for his innovative shots.
