However i've slowly began changing my portfolio to a staking powerhouse, that's right NEO eat your heart out. Here's what i started buying Neo,Komodo,Waves and Smartcash.
How i stake these coins? most POS coins are easy to stake and can be done in wallet. Let's start with Neo, i just use the Neon wallet
Just transfer your NEO to the wallet and collect gas for HODLing, easy.

Onto Komodo good news, it's just as easy. Download the Agama wallet and transfer your KMD to it,BOOM.
The best thing about KMD is you recieve KMD as a reward then you earn KMD on your interest KMD haha i dont think im making sense, basically it's the compounding effect on a great crypto with a massive future.
Surfing the blockchain
Waves is a very promising project think Ethereum but it offers a decentralized exchange, DEX, for trading your newly minted coin with other coins on the Waves network.
The waves online wallet its easy to use however you cant just store your coins in the wallet to get rewards. You have to lease them, the process takes a bit of time so i'm going to do it in another post.
Smarties, Under the Radar but we have Sonar
My favorite crypto project @smartcash its a fairly new crypto but the design and perks are amazing, undervalued massively with Masternodes (Smartnodes) and a community block reward allocation similar to Dash. You just have to store your Smart in the wallet and you gain monthly rewards. Smartrewards require a minimum of 1000 Smart from the 25th to the 25th and you gain interest.

Silver Lining to every Cloud
This first quarter has destroyed everyone's crypto i don't care how diversified your portfolio was losing 5% on one coin or 5% on every coin its all gone fucked. This has let me evaluate the better projects and hopefully set myself up for the next bull run. Hopefully this post helped you think about a few other projects.
Truly what you say about holding these smaller alternate coins is a wise move.... their fundamentals are really strong, especially for smartcash and steemit because of their everyday functionality. Thanks to you, i will begin taking a closer look at komodo... it seems there is more to it than meets the eyes.... SMARTCASH still remains my vanguard crypto

@faraicelebr8 its %5 ive only been staking a short time with KMD and with a small amount but the returns seem impressive. And you can claim your KMD and then earn of that too so its fairly decent
