Smartcash Smart Rewards Pool Update June 28
Well, we finally did it. We created the first and only (to my knowledge) Smart Rewards Pool, which allows anyone with any amount of Smartcash to earn Smart Rewards, which is the great interest earning opportunity normally only available to those who hold 1000 SMART or more in a Smart Rewards account.

The Smart Rewards Pool is now active for the month starting 25 June 2018, and as of today, the estimated Monthly Reward Percent is 1.67%
(This number usually increases as the month goes on, and you can check the Smartrewards Calculator on the above link for updates as we get closer to July 25).
There are two ways that a Steemit user can participate in the Smart Rewards Pool:
1: Become a Free Member by leaving a Comment below stating "I want to be a Smart Rewards Pool Free Member".
You will then receive an equal share of all SBD earned by Posts on this Blog this month (before July 25) with Smart Rewards interest added.
(Dont forget to Upvote and/or Resteem to ensure the success of these Posts)
2: Become a Full Member by leaving a Comment below stating "I want to be a Smart Rewards Pool Full Member".
In your Comment, please also state the amount of Smartcash you wish to invest and send it to:

You will receive your Smartcash back with Smart Rewards interest added after August 25.

how do we participate for the July/Aug month? since the snapshots happen only once?
The snapshots happen once a month. Given that you and I are the only investors (Full Members) so far, I suggest we just roll over the current investment. In other words, we don't withdraw anything on July 25. I am happy to pay out the SBD amounts to the Free Members from funds that I already hold in my Steemit account as the amounts are relatively small.
ok.. but the gains in rewards do not get compounded?
Not sure about that. Maybe there is a lag of a month, but eventually, any interest added to the account will be included in a snapshot, just not sure if it will be for the July 25 or the August 25 snapshot.
and adding interest into the same address, will it void the interest for the month?

SMARTREWARDS
One of the first things everyone gets to understand about #smartcash is the #smartrewards feature. This is the feature where a holder of 1000 #smartcash who does not move it during the cycle from the 25th (snapshot) to the 25th of the next month is paid #smartrewards. These come from 15% of the block reward during the period and, they are shared out to all addresses that qualify.
WHAT HAS CHANGED ?
SmartRewards are to be mined directly from blocks and paid to your address. These coin will now show on your transaction list as Mined and not Received as it previously did.
SmartRewards will no longer be paid on a specific date
Snapshots will be based on number of blocks and not calendar date
