This is an interesting platform... this minds.com. Is it worth checking out? hmmm we'll have to try and see. But you didnt mention if we can also earn smart coins there as well or not... or did you?

I do not know answer to your question but @hockleyj has been active in giving so much to users on steemit and he is already on Minds.com. If I had an educated guess I would say some way or another one can earn Smartcash through Minds.com.

No Tip bot on Minds.com yet, so no smart tipping yet. but it does have its own token, so its an early days build a base of tokens kind of thing, then as the platform evolves and tipbots etc then we will do the same thing tip with Smart and use the tokens to make the community trend on the front page etc....
