Why Smart Cart is SMART

Smart Cash is a decentralized cryptocurrency built on its own blockchain. There are currently four pillars that Smart Cash is strongly invested in. These are Anonymity, Community, Rewards, and Merchant Appeal. The additional piece of the foundation for Smart Cash is continued development, which you can see on Smart Cashs' Roadmap. Below, I'll go over each of the pillars and their foundation.

• Anonymous - Smart Cash has coined the term "Renew" to describe its anonymity feature. Renew is based on the Zero Coin Protocol. This feature allows Smart Cash holder to choose to erase their Smart Cash they have and have them replaced with new coins that have no history.
• Community - Smart Cash has a growing and highly active community. However, what is unique is that Smart Cash decided to give the community the power to steer the direction of their project. This is done through their "Smart Hive" and "Smart Vote" principals.
• Smart Hive is where any member of their community can drop in to give their thoughts and propose a new project or suggestion to improve the crypto currency.
• Smart Vote is where any Smart Cash holders can go to cast a vote for a project that the developers or community y have approved. Currently, 1 Smart Cash is worth 1 vote. There are some pretty cool proj cts that are being funded right now, including a push for a Steemit Guild Banner and Footer that is almost funded.

Smart Rewards - This is a really cool concept that Smart Cash chose to try to create more stabilization, since cryptocurrency tend to have more volatile swings. The concept is that the take 15% of the mined block rewards and distribute that among the Smart cash holders that hold at least 1000 SMART and held their Smart in their wallet for 30 days after the monthly snapshot is taken on the 25th of the month. This months reward is prejoected at 23% of your holdings. View your projected Smart Rewards.

Merchant Appeal - The feature driving this is being developed and is anticipated to release this year. This is being billed as Insta Cash, and is geared to allow transactions at a credit card like pace. As I discussed with the developers in their slack and on the forum, the target audience is small and large businesses alike, really going for a universal appeal. They are working to advertise this and get the word out with some foreign merchant through some of their Community projects like the Venezuelan Food Distribution and Marketing Campaign.
