A DAY IN SLUM

A day to remember 26th January 2017, yes the Republic Day of our nation, few month back along with my team I went to a slum area to take a closer look at the lifestyle of the people living over there.

We interacted with them and got to know some really "hard to believe" answers.

Question 1- How long you all are living here ?

Answer 1- From past 30 years

Yes, 30 years, its really hard to believe that these people were living in those conditions from past 30 years !

Question 2- What all you have for cooking ?

Answer 2- Only a few utensils for all daily needs as well as for eating food.

Question 3- What are the facilities for the supply of raw materials for food?

Answer 3 - A small shop which provides us the food.

Question 4 - What about the water supply?

Answer 4- No proper source of clean water.

My group - "3d youth film group" went to support the initiative taken by a group "AAPG" from UPES who organised this donation camp and they spent some time with them, donated food, clothes, stationary, gifts and a lots more to the people.
