First Real Snow This Winter
Winter is coming. First real snow has fallen yesterday evening and during the night. The rain has turned to snow above the 800 meters above sea level.

Oof! This is my first time approaching winter in my new home of North Carolina, and I am enjoying the lack of snow so far :-D. Apparently we'll only get it once or twice all season if it's normal. You are already deep in the snow!
Once or twice? Eh, I couldn't live in a snowless area.
This snow will not hold for long. But it is enough as a base for the artificial snow to be layered upon it on the ski slopes. This way, with artificial and natural snow closely woven, it is a great foundation for the skiing season to hold until march :)
Nice, when i was a kid i ejoyed snow very much while in Romania, but since i moved to Italy 11 years ago i haven't seen no snow...
I suppose that you live somewhere south of Venice? :)
Snow in the winter is essential for the joy of life. As is sun and sea in the summer.
