Digital Sketch: Made a John Wick Poster
Yesterday, my professor tasked us to make a movie poster in our own way it's digital art. I decided to make a John Wick fan made poster since I'm a fan. The action scenes were great. The visual effects were awesome. Everything were all fantastic. So, I have an idea for the poster and now the concept. Our computer laboratory have a Wacom Pen Tablet and I noticed that no one is using it.
Wacom Pen Tablet
Without hesitation I tried using one and at first it's fun but slowly I realized that this is SO MUCH FUN! So, I'm gonna show you guys my process on making this art. But first, I'm very bad at drawing so I decided to do this like hatching method or something. I really don't know what this is called but whatever. I love doing art.
The Process: My reference photo
As you can see I'm starting to sketch the hair part and I chose to use a small stroke by 3 to 4 pixels for the brush.
After finishing the tracing stage, now I'll be adding the colors. I'll be using monochromatic colors.
My base color is gray for the skin and now I use dark colors for the shadow
Don't mind the Image Trace window. I didn't use that for this art. As you can see, it's on default option.
With final adjustments, VOILA!
I hope you all guys liked my fan made poster for the movie, John Wick. Thanks for reading and hoping you all having a nice day!
