in #slothicorn6 years ago

HELLO EVERYONE

Alfredo James Pacino, known like Al Pacino (New York, 25 of April of 1940), is an actor, scriptwriter and American director of cinema and theater. He is one of the theater and film actors of the late twentieth century who received the most awards. His career spanned fifty years during which he has won numerous awards and honors, including the Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA, Tony, a recognition to his career by the American Film Institute, the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the National Medal of the Arts. He is also one of the few actors that has won the Oscar, Emmy and Tony awards as an actor, a group known as the "Triple Crown of Performance"

One of my favorite actors! Many of us remember him as "The Godfather". It is one of the best movies.

Al Pacino has interpreted movies like:

  • The Godfather
  • The Godfather Part II
  • Cruising
  • Sea of Love
  • The Godfather Part III
  • Donnie Brasco

... Among many others, and these have been some of the ones I liked!

My illustration today is for him, Al Pacino, a great idol and character of the twentieth century.

In this collage you can see the progress of the illustration! and now we go to the details!

  • To begin, as each illustration made the sketch by pencil, this time we have a new tool, a mechanical pencil with Leads 0.5mm.
This mechanical pencil will help me to make smaller details that the face requires, as it is a slightly old figure, it has more details on its skin, and this pencil is perfect for these things.

  • I used a HB pencil to make the main layer to get the right skin tone, with the charcoal illustrious eyes, eyelashes and wrinkles, giving depth accompanied by graphite to highlight the volume of his face.

  • With the help of the moldable eraser I gave the glitter in the eyes, and some parts of the face. With the help of the 5mm mechanical pencil. I made some spots on the face of Al Pacino, the truth is this pencil is very good for this.

  • With charcoal make the eyebrows, making smooth strokes and blurring with the brush. in the same way, blur the wrinkles so that they take a little relief.

  • I illustrated the wrinkles on the forehead, using charcoal for the darker parts and for the base of the skin, the HB pencil.

  • I illustrated the mouth using a pencil 2B and 4B, with the help of the charcoal to give darkness, the beard were slight traces of charcoal and many lights with the moldable eraser, to make those little white hair.

  • Illustrate the neck, the ears using HB pencil, charcoal for the shadows and diffusing with the brush to give volume, the costume I made with charcoal and graphite powder.

  • Here, to Ilustrated the hair I did something different. I did it only with charcoal, without blurring with brush because I wanted the white areas and that it did not turn into a gray to erase. if not make strokes and give the effect only with the charcoal.

  • It was a job of time and patience to make hair to hair. But it is necessary to do so so that it can be appreciated much better.

  • Making lines, shading a bit to adjust the direction of the hair but finally had good results.

This is the Final Art!

Al Pacino is a great idol for me, I've always wanted to draw him, previously I did not have the necessary skills to do it. Today I dare to illustrate many things that I could not before and that makes me very happy.

The tools that accompanied me in this illustration:

  • Mechanical Pencil.
  • HB, 2B, 4B Leads 2mm, 5mm.
  • Charcoal Pencil.
  • Brush.
  • Moldable Eraser.
  • Opaline A4, 180G.

For me it is a pleasure to illustrate for you. Thanks for visiting my work and so much support. You are the best of the best!
