An Illustration Process: Lebron James "Always Believe"

We have been inspired by numerous people who lived by the past and present. These famous individuals achieved greatness on a craft they chose. Ruled by passion, dedication and discipline, the fire of their spirit helped them achieve what they visualise of what are they to become.

But, oftwn times people tend to only see what they're capable of, what practice they have perfected. But, never the struggles and sacrifices they have made to accomplish their goals.

Blood, sweat and tears were the cost of most of these successes. Without it, none of these accomplishment have come into being.

Good day Steemians! Today I'll be showing you another process of illustration, a commission artwork I made for a client. Of course, starring his personal idol, Lebron James. Entitled: " Always Believe"

Who would know the name LEBRON JAMES? He has been famous all over the world, known for his skills inside the basketball court, Lebron James conquered the NBA for a long period of time. Numerous Championships achieved, his name has been worthy of success and has become an icon for the many fans all over the world.

Now, on this process I used a 1/2 sized illustration board as a canvass of the artwork. Started off with a sketch, placed all the figures where I wanted them to be and now we're good on proceeding to the next step.

With all of them penciled up, we now proceed on outlining the figure. . .

Pen, sharpie markers name it, I used it. Just to cover all the lines with ink.

Look at those Lebron's tattoo's. . .

Now all the inking done, we now go with a lil bit of painting using poster paints.

Background secured! Waited it to dry up. Then we now go with the final touches!

I shaded lebron's skin with grey using a pencil, then used color pencils on his jersey to complete the process.

With all of it done, we now go into sharing!
