🎨 Drawing: ✨ Artemisa ✨🌙
¡Hi everyone! ¡I'm back! After some time without publishing due to problems with my computer, I am addressing you to share a drawing of the "Artemis Greek Goddess", because it is one of the deities that attracts me most of Greek mythology, one of my greatest tastes. As a child, one of my greatest hobbies was reading about the stories or myths that this mythology covers. They seemed to me really fantastic and incredible stories, that could contain a certain veracity in them.
One of the Goddesses that most attracted my attention as a child was the Goddess Artemis, perhaps because she was represented as a chaste and pure young woman, characterized for being very independent who sought to fight for her own goals, with great ferocity to defend to the family and to punish those whom she feels have offended her, who in turn was represented as a young woman with a big heart who loved nature. All these characteristics fascinated me and as a child I dreamed of being like that Goddess!... Anyway, today I wanted to share with you this representative drawing of the Goddess Artemis and well, I hope you like it!
"Artemis" or its Roman equivalent "Diana", was one of the deities of ancient Greece widely venerated. It was described mainly as the daughter of Zeus and the Titan Leto, and the twin sister of the god Apollo. She is represented as the Greek goddess of hunting, wild animals, nature, childbirth, virginity and the protection of young women, bringing and relieving disease in women. He is often depicted as a hunter who carries a bow and arrows and, in turn, identifies himself with Selene, a titan who was the Greek goddess of the Moon (so it is sometimes depicted with a crescent moon on her head).
✨ Some pictures of the process ✨
My drawing, as part of a representation made in pencil and color of the Goddess Artemis, has representative elements that identify this Goddess, as are the arrow in her hand, the Antlers of deer that protrude from her head and the wolf, which is represented under the traits of a young hunter, accompanied by a hunting dog and a doe. Since the goddess has been identified with the moon wandering the mountains, parallel to her brother Apollo, who was the personification of the sun, I have drawn in my representation of Artemis, a crescent moon on her forehead and the full moon in the background.
Thank you very much for reading my post. If you liked it, I hope you can support me with a comment, suggestion, reesteem or your valuable vote. It would help me a lot. Without further ado, I say goodbye and wish you a good day.
