My Sketchbook - Study Drawing - Portraits (tutorial) 🎨

4H helps to have a smooth surface , first i use darker pencil (6B) and then i add 2h and at the end 4H,
if you use 4H you can see it is very light and even with the pressure of your hands you can't draw a visible line, so its good for shading in final step
i'm going to share steps of this work also. :)

i used to draw different layers of pencils for the skin and blended some edges , and now want to start to draw hairs...

Glorious. The build up is great to see and I think very helpful for artists learning to draw as well. I love the composition with the hair coming forward over the shoulder.
